fiddlers
Rayna Gellert is one of the finest Old-Time fiddle players around. The site has some great mp3 clips from her album Ways Of The World.
Possibly the single greatest live performance I've ever seen was Bruce Molsky at the Sweet Sunny South festival some years ago.
This man is truly one of the greats, and he is among us! Don't miss an opportunity to see him play.
things to do with ben
Ben Paley & Tab Hunter's acclaimed 1999 CD is now available for download in mp3 format from www.efolkmusic.org - good news, eh?
Website of Ben Paley & Tab Hunter. It's been off-line since the domain name lapsed and we lost it to some unscrupulous outfit, but we're back now at a similar address.
Sara and Kieron are great players and lovely, funny people; I hope we'll be playing together for a long time to come.
Some pictures of Sara, Kieron and Ben from 2008's Sidmouth Folk Week
A kaleidoscopic video by Tony Willett of Ben and Tab at Seaford Folk Club in early 2006, playing Sally Gooden. And lots of rotating stout.
Filmed on a mobile phone, I suspect, in Jim's front room, Tab and I and Tab's son Jake play my tune the Shooting Star.
Same stuff as here, mostly, only not as much of it...
other music
Those of you who don't know my dad should check this out - it's a video of him playing and singing the Sporting Life Blues on his beautiful old guitar.
I play with the great Joe Locker in the New Deal String Band - this main link is to some information about his solo album, and here's a video clip of Joe and Mike Whellans in 1984. And you might be interested to read about his work with Rosie Davis and Bob Winquist too.
Beau Webber works very hard for traditional music in Kent, and kentFolk has its own section on efolkmusic.org too. Lots of worthwhile stuff on both sites.

Vince does most of my repairs and such-like. He's also a pretty nifty fiddler himself.
Who is the deadbeat? No-one knows (oh all right, I do know) but he's very funny anyway!
